Vocational training and education for girls with mental disabilities

A significant percentage of humans born suffer from mental and physical disabilities due to various factors (such as hereditary factors, factors during the mother’s pregnancy, birth defects, or diseases and accidents in the early years of childhood). This defect or disability, sometimes due to the lack of appropriate treatment solutions, accompanies such individuals at all ages and for the rest of their lives.

Despite the extensive programs implemented at various levels in different societies to prevent disabilities, unfortunately, we should never expect the eradication of such defects in human beings, or at least no fundamental steps have been taken in this direction. Therefore, in order to reduce the problems related to the occurrence of physical and mental disabilities, two basic measures are usually taken in every society. The first step is to make as much effort as possible to prevent disabilities and prevent the occurrence of mental and physical disabilities, and the second step is to create the necessary welfare and educational facilities that serve the disabled.

The creation of appropriate educational and vocational welfare facilities in all parts of the country to provide services to the disabled should be such that all disabled people and those in need of rehabilitation can, with equal conditions and facilities, achieve self-sufficiency and independent living as much as possible, free from the disability category. We at the Vahdat Charity Center are doing our best to provide this.
